Matthias Brandt, born 1961 as the youngest son of the former German Chancellor Willy Brandt and his wife Rut, is one of Germany’s best-known actors. After a stage career performing at many prestigious German-language theatres, he has worked in recent years mainly in film and TV. He has received numerous awards for his acting achievements.
