Ulrike Möltgen, born 1973 in Wuppertal, did a degree in Communication Design, and completed a diploma under the guidance of Wolf Erlbruch. She was a lecturer for a period at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. Her work has won numerous awards and appeared in numerous exhibitions. Ulrike Möltgen is particularly well known for the Mondbär series (Moonbeam Bear). A designer and illustrator, she lives in Wuppertal.
