Berlin Verlag

The Berlin Verlag, founded in 1994 with an international remit, was Germany’s first new venture in general-interest publishing since reunification, and quickly made its name with writers such as Nadine Gordimer, Raymond Carver, Ingo Schulze, Péter Esterházy, Richard Sennett und Dava Sobel. Its programme embraces a broad range of major international and German-language authors in the domains of belles-lettres and non-fiction.
