Clara Leinemann, born in Cologne in 1994, studied creative writing in Hildesheim and writes prose, plays and radio plays. Her play *Buddeln* has won several awards and has been performed at various theatres in Germany and, in translation, in the Netherlands. She has received various grants for her work, including the Berlin Senate Grant and the working grant from the Fritz-Hüser Institute for Literature and Work. She lives in Berlin.
