Detlev Claussen

Detlev Claussen, born 1948 in Hamburg, studied Philosophy, Sociology, Literature and Politics in Frankfurt under Theodor Adorno and others. Until his retirement he was for a long period Professor of Social Theory, Cultural Sociology, and the Sociology of Science at the University of Hanover. He remains active as a journalist and lives in Frankfurt.
