Meral Kureyshi was born in 1983 in Prizren, formerly Yugoslavia, and has lived in Berne, Switzerland, since 1992. Following her studies at the Swiss Institute of Literature she founded the ‘Lyrikatelier’ in order to encourage children’s poetry.
