Annekathrin Kohout has a PhD in cultural studies and is a freelance author. She is co-editor of the book series ‘Digitale Bildkulturen’ [Digital Image Cultures] published by Wagenbach Verlag and the magazine ‘POP. Kultur und Kritik’ [POP. Culture and Criticism]. She writes a column on internet culture for the ‘taz’ newspaper. Her most recent books are on internet feminism, nerds and K-pop.
