Book Prize Winner Martina Hefter in Conversation with her Translators Elena Abós and Dorota Stroínska

The conversation will focus on Martina Hefter‘s award-winning „Hey Good Morning, How Are You?“, which won the German Book Prize in 2024. Since then, the novel has been awarded numerous prizes and drawn considerable attention worldwide. Together with her (Spanish) and (Polish) translators, Elena Abós (Spanish) and Dorota Stroínska (Polish) Martina Hefter will talk about life and writing in the digital era, the specific challenges of translation, and how the novel and its themes have resonated within other regional contexts and languages.
