Martin Geck

Martin Geck, 1936-2019, was for many years Professor of Musicology at Dortmund University. In his early career he served as the founding editor of the Richard Wagner Complete Edition; later he devoted himself chiefly to Bach research. He published numerous books on the history of German music in the seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
