Kiepenheuer & Witsch Verlag

Founded in 1948, Kiepenheuer & Witsch is a German general-interest publisher that publishes critical and popular non-fiction books alongside literary and light-reading-type
books by well-known authors and by young German-language and international authors. It currently has books by 800 authors on its list. It has offered its own paperback series, ‘Kiwi-Paperbacks’, since 1982, and since 2007 it has owned the Galiani Berlin imprint. The company is based in Cologne, and is part of the Holtzbrinck Publishing Group.
